ROUND 4 RESULTS & AWARDS
This weekend we hosted Woodside at home and we want to give a big thanks to all of the supporters who came out to cheers us on. Unfortunately, it was a rough day on the field and court for both our footballers and net ballers as Woodside proved too strong in all grades.
We congratulate Shane Morgan on breaking the games record this weekend. Morgo this is such an amazing achievement and you have been a great role model for our younger club members to look up to and a huge asset to our club for many years and we hope you will be here for many more to come.
Before the seniors game we held a moments silence for the great Ted Jones. Ted was a true legend of our club, and his contributions to the Cowwarr Football Netball Club will never be forgotten. We extend our deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to his family during this difficult time.
In D-Grade Maddie Veneman played her 50th Game for the club, Congratulations Maddie we hope there are many more to come. We would also like to wish a happy birthday to Brayden Rioli who celebrated his 21st Birthday on Saturday and to Rhys Luxford who’s birthday is today.
We look forward to next week when we travel to take on Yarram. We encourage all of our wonderful supporters to make the trip if they can to support us.
